The Bottom Line:
For the price, it gives you more features than any other phone in its class.
I am very supraised that there's no review on this phone yet, it's on the market for almost 2 years. I will not go into technical details on this PDA phone, since you can find tons of professional reviews out there. However, I will give you my opinions based on my personal experience with the phone for the past 3 months. Those professional reviews generally concentrate on the features, they failed to provide a full picture of the product based on real life usage. This is the reason I am such a big fan of epinions, because you can find out more about the product from users who actually use it everyday.
I am a long time PDA user, my first PDA was a the Palm IIIxe, the feature packed Toshiba E740, Toshiba E830, Dell Axim X50v and now, the HP HW6515 PDA/phone. I like the ideal of having a PDA, since it allows me to carry a lot of information with me all the time. I primarily use it for calendar, contact and some other software. As the years go by since my Palm days, I find many features of my PDA are conflicting with my celluar phone. I owned the Ngage by Nokia before I purchased the HW6515. I had to carry two devices all the time, but I often just bring my N-gage, since it has all my outlook appointments, contact informations and the phone function. I find my Dell axim x50v sitting at home collectin dust most of the time, the only time I use it is for divx videos or some wi-fi surf.
My hunt for an converge device has began. I like all the features a PDA offers, but I hate carrying two my PDA and cellphone at the same time, especially my cellphone already has my most freaquently use programs.
