Pros Fantastic pictures for the Money. Point and shoot like no other.
Cons No focus light for pictures in low light. Only 30 sec of video

I went out and spent $500 dollars on the HP 850 and had problems in battery life, color accuracy of picture and focus. I took it back and got the HP 720 for only $269. Cons very slow response, camera locks-up, frame numbers reset, bulky

I've had the HP 720 for almost a year now having bought it after reading Epinion's recommendations which were mainly positive.
The camera *does* produce good photographs even at the one star setting but I have to say that overall I am sorry that I bought it.

Pros Extremely good pictures - fair better than canon A70. Long battery life Good Zoom
Cons Bad LCD - Bulky

I got this as the first Digital Camera. I tried to change it later for a Canon PowerShot A70. And I decided to stick with the olde HP720!!!!

Image quality is the key factor. The HP is a rather rugged, bulky, camera but its pictures have no rival in the "trendy" A70.

Pros Very nice, especially for the cost! Handles 256MB card. Quick, crisp pix.
Cons Wrist strap is a joke.
Recommended it? Yes

Purchased a new HP720 via BuyDig.com for $133. Clean, simple purchasing experience. Also purchased a 256MB SD card and a set of rechargeable batteries and charger.
