Sony Clie UX50: Is it Worth the Cost?
My fiance's company has recently upgraded all of their reps to the Sony Clie UX50. Why would they do such a thing when their current hand held's are just over a year old? I am not sure, but she was told that the new Sony is just that good. Ok, fair enough, but why not wait until the next "too good"... Read full review »
An expensive way to store data, but it?s got the WOW factor going for it.
I love gadgets and I think Sony makes some of the best. I've been shopping for an all-in-one system that will provide entertainment while allowing my college-bound son to do school work on it as well. During this search I came across this unit—it looks like a laptop, but it turns out it's a mini... Read full review »
Useful, fun and almost perfect
For over a month I've kept my UX50 in constant dominion and control. I've been watching music videos of Beyonce and Genuwine, listening to Simon & Garfunkel, using the Internet, taking pictures, recording movies, making voice notes and maintaining an agenda. All of this on one device. The UX50,... Read full review »

The UX50
The UX50 was a looker from the moment Sony unveiled this device in a Japanese press conference towards the beginning of the summer. Eschewing the more traditional sensibilities of the Palm lineup and Sony's own previous Clies, I was happy to see the return of the landscape...

All singing, all dancing. Just not for very long.
It's hard to write a balanced review of this product when, for me, it has both plus points and drawbacks and they are polar opposites.
Let me start by saying that this unit was second-hand, albeit a factory refurb from SONY (at least that's what I was told by the seller on ebay, and I...

Just one fault, other than that, love it.
Let me start with an aside that reawakened my love for my UX-50.
I just bought the PEGA-VR100K today. Great rep at a Sony store here in Winnipeg found one for me. Told me that it was 499 CND. I kind of laughed and said "after taxes that would be high 500's". He asked what I would pay if...

Great product for this 1st time PDA user
One of the primary criteria I had in purchasing a PDA was a QWERTY keyboard. I did not want to learn graffiti or similar handscripting input methods. I also knew that I needed wireless connectivity, because many of the meetings I attend occur near wireless access points, and many of the debates... Read full review »
Missing a few things
I love the design.. Sony's PDA's are becoming more and more like mini laptop's. The built in camera is always a good feature, but it doesn't feature a flash and the resolution isn't like the 2.1 MP of the other Sony PDA. Actually, I'd spend double the money and get a Sony laptop, or even the... Read full review »
Excellent Connectivity, Business Handheld
I figure since most people who are looking at Clie UX-50 would also consider NX80V, I will write a comparison review on it to save you some time. I personally own three different Sony Clie models: UX50, NX80V, and NR70. So I think I am in a good position to provide you good information on the good... Read full review »
The question is... Laptop or PDA! =) Absolutly amazing!
Wow, where do I start? When I really started looking for a PDA about 5 years ago, I came across the HP Jornada series which included keyboards and a clamshell style. Over the following years, the clamshell style PDA died out. I was so disssapointed and never was really into PDAs because of that... Read full review »

Sony Clie Peg-ux50 Pda Handheld - Palm Os 5.2
The EOS 20D has an extensive ISO range (from 100 to 1600 plus ISO 3200 in extended mode), and the sensor features a newly developed set of narrow-gap microlenses and noise-reduction circuits to improve performance at high ISOs and optimized photodiode configurations for improved performance at all ISOs. This results in larger, clearer, sharper, and more detailed photographs right from the start. Second- Generation DIGIC II Image Processor The EOS 20D benefits from Canon's in-house development: The DIGIC II image processor was developed originally for the EOS-1D Mark II and enhances every aspect of image capture. Information captured by the CMOS sensor is processed and assembled into images of exceptional quality by this new image processor. The new white-balance bracketing feature produces a series of three files varying white balance from magenta to green or blue to amber, depending on the lighting situation. The EOS 20D's direct-printing feature complies with Exif v2.2 (Exif Print) and DPOF v1.1. With a host
