Canon's "A" series digicams have been very popular with consumers since the introduction of the revolutionary little A20. Canon PowerShot A510 Digital Camera - Compact and Cheap, But Flexible

bydkozin Aug 3, 2005
41 Helpfuls 42 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Excellent optics for low price and compact size, uses 2 AA batteries, features, 4x zoom
Cons Flash creates shadow in corner in Macro mode and overexposes unless you use ISO50/f8
Recommended it? Yes

A replacement for the last year's Canon A75, the 3.2-Megapixel Canon PowerShot A510 is currently available at rather low prices. The Olympus Stylus 1000 is the 10mp leader of the "Stylus" line of Cameras, however it's performance is far from "in the lead".

A few years ago my Father received an Olympus Stylus 300 (3.2mp Camera) for Christmas. The pictures it took were so beautiful, that when it came time for me to... Read full review »
