I've had this camera for about two years and I am very pleased with it. I only paid around $280 for the whole kit, which was a great value. The choice was between a Canon S3 and the Pentax, and I went for this K100D and still haven't regretted it.

This is a very robust camera with both dust and weather seals. The camera also contains in-camera Shake Reduction, which allows all of your lenses to benefit from the technology. This is different from most Shake Reduction cameras in that the Shake Reduction is supplied in the lenses themselves...

The main reason I went with this camera was the weather sealing and the fact it was very comparable in picture quality to its competitors.
The K10 feels great in your hands, it feels "real". Its nice to know when you are out shooting and it starts to sprinkle that your camera will be okay...
