The Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 digital camera Thin is in

byHoward_Creech Mar 9, 2006

Pros Very good photo quality, huge LCD screen, nifty slideshow feature, good battery life
Cons Redeye, no Custom white balance
Recommended it? Yes

Sony's new N1 is a stylishly thin compact digital camera that reminds me of the iconic little Contax T film camera. The N1 also features 8 megapixel resolution, a very good 3X zoom, and a super large 3.0" touch-screen LCD. It is small enough to be dropped into a shirt pocket and tough enough to go... Pros Small size, Large viewscreen, Great touchscreen menus.
Cons Red-eye problems with indoor photos, too sensitive to motion, a lot of shaky photos.
Recommended it? No

I'm a professional photographer, and I love cameras. It's not always feasible to take my Digital SLR on personal trips, making snapshots, etc., so I went looking for a small, easy to carry camera that I could toss in my bag and snap photos whenever I wished. I have an older Sony Cyber-shot, and... Read full review »

I am on my third digital camera, and this is by far my favorite. I have had it for about a year, and my sister has had the same one for 2 years, and neither of us have had any problems with the durability or camera functions.
Camera Body: It has a nice, sleek look and is small enough to put in... Read full review »

I was taken in my the idea of a similar but smaller camera in the same generation as the dsc-w300 and with better zoom. Since I could not find a local store that had them out for display I went Fry's (which would have displayed it, but the connector was broken. They had most others on display). I...
